Webinar: AI to support decision making in acute health consultations

Imagine if artificial intelligence could be used to predict and identify critical conditions in patients, such as cardiac arrest or strokes.

Startup Corti uses artificial intelligence to analyze millions of patient conversations. Corti’s software identifies the patterns in the conversations and helps doctors and other experts predict and detect potentially life-threatening situations such as cardiac arrest, blood clots, etc.

In this webinar, Lars Maaløe, CTO and cofounder in Corti, will give insight into the company that has built an artificial intelligence that acts as support in decision making for healthcare experts during a consultation. The presentation explores in depth the cooperation between Corti and the Capital Region Emergency Response, the technical developments and clinical validation. Furthermore, Lars unveils Corti’s global development from both a technical and commercial point of view.

Speaker:

Lars Maaløe is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Corti. Lars holds an MSc and PhD in machine learning from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He was nominated for ‘PhD of the Year’ by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and has published research at the foremost machine learning conferences. Lars previously worked for the financial sector, Issuu and Apple.

The webinar will take place Thursday, 28 January 2021 at 17:00-18:00.
