Webinar: Why do some influenza viruses infect from animals to humans while others do not?
At this webinar, IDA focuses on viruses and vaccines. You will gain insights into the latest knowledge and research by leading experts.
How can a virus infect from animal to human? What types of viruses have the potential to spread from distant corners of the world and trigger a worldwide pandemic?
Over the next few years, a team of researchers from the University of Copenhagen and DTU will examine a wide range of both viral and host-related parameters relevant to the risk of infection between animals and humans.
Through this research, we will learn how we can stem future influenza outbreaks in animals and humans before they develop into global pandemics.
Join this webinar to hear more about the exciting research.
The webinar takes place Monday, 26 October at 9.00-10.00 a.m.
Lars Erik Larsen, Professor, Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, KU
