The research company Gubra ApS, located in DTU Science Park, wins the business award Entrepreneur of the Year for the second year in a row.
Together with four other Zealand companies, Gubra was among the finalists in the annual regional competition, where Gubra won the award as Entrepreneur of the Year.
The business award is given to the most innovative growth company, and the winner is chosen based on several parameters, including economic growth, values, leadership, and societal commitment.
The choice of Gubra as the winner, is described by the jury member, Irfan Goandal, he says: “Gubra is both a strong and passionate entrepreneur and a company with a clear impact, a great focus on its employees and a strong attitude when it comes to CSR.
The jury praises the company’s ability to grow in a very knowledge-heavy and innovative area. There is a strong gender distribution in the company, and it embraces a wide range of development, testing, and analysis.
“We see great potential just as the active efforts for a better climate have been noticed. Ten percent of earnings go to climate improvement and the ambition is to become carbon negative.”
Gubra will now join the national final, which will take place on January 21, 2021.
