Insight Chips develops advanced technology that allows researchers to observe materials and biological processes while they happen at the nanoscale. Their flagship product, the Nano Channel Chip, is the world’s first of its kind: a robust, ready-to-use liquid-cell chip that fits directly into existing electron microscopes.
It delivers clearer images, faster preparation, and precise control of liquids inside the microscope, giving researchers a uniquely powerful tool to study dynamic processes at extremely high resolution.

For Insight Chips, joining DTU Science Park offered access to an environment where scientific ideas can be developed, tested, and turned into real-world solutions. In 2022, the company took part in Danish Tech Challenge, DTU Science Park’s growth programme for hardware startups. Today, Insight Chips is one of more than 300 companies in the park, supported by a community that brings together collaboration, specialised facilities, and shared expertise to help founders advance their technologies.
DTU Science Park has been the ideal environment for us. Being close to DTU and having access to the right facilities has made it easier to take our technology from prototype to commercial product. We learned a lot during our participation in Danish Tech Challenge, and we continue to benefit from being surrounded by other startups and the strong community here
