Snapform is revolutionising access to high-quality prosthetics by replacing traditional manual methods with advanced digital design and modern production technology. Their approach eliminates the need for plaster casting and test sockets. Instead, Snapform uses SimFit, a proprietary technology that designs prosthetic sockets directly from a 3D scan.
The result is fewer clinic visits, faster delivery, and sockets that are precisely optimised for both comfort and strength.
The grant will allow us to work more closely with international NGOs to help more people gain access to high-quality prosthetic solutions. It also enables us to optimise our processes and validate that our technology is ready to be scaled internationally

Part of a community designed to accelerate deep tech growth
As part of DTU Science Park, Snapform is part of a community designed to accelerate deep tech development, from mentoring and test facilities to funding opportunities such as the grants sponsored by Sportgoodsfonden.
We create the space for deep tech innovation, and that means helping companies accelerate their journey beyond Denmark’s borders. The grant from Sportgoodsfonden is one of the ways we support that ambition. For Snapform, it can strengthen their international reach and help them take the next step in scaling their technology globally.
Steen Donner
CEO, DTU Science Park
For Snapform, joining DTU Science Park meant becoming part of an ecosystem built to support the journey from experiment to commercialisation. Back in 2019, they participated in Danish Tech Challenge, DTU Science Park’s growth programme for hardware startups. Today, Techvolver is one of more than 300 companies in the DTU Science Park. Benefiting from a community designed to support ambitious founders through collaboration, specialised facilities, and access to shared expertise.
Choosing DTU Science Park felt natural. My background is from DTU, and being here gives us access to the right environment, support and network. It’s a community where we can easily ask other.

About Sportgoodsfonden
The grants are sponsored by Sportgoodsfonden, a Danish foundation that supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and initiatives that benefit society. Funded through proceeds from the Danish sports equipment industry, the foundation awards grants to projects and companies working with health, well-being, and technological development in Denmark.
Through its collaboration with DTU Science Park, the foundation helps strengthen the development of deep tech solutions that enhance technological reliability and enable new solutions with broad societal value.
We want to support growth, development, and activities that reach beyond Denmark’s borders. It is deeply rooted in the foundation’s values to back initiatives and entrepreneurs with an international outlook. These grants are meant to help them take the next step and bring their solutions to the world.
