🏅 Techvolver awarded a DKK 100,000 grant by Sportgoodsfonden

Deep tech companies across DTU Science Park continue to push scientific innovation forward. Techvolver is one of five companies to receive a DKK 100,000 grant supported by Sportgoodsfonden, a foundation that backs innovation, entrepreneurship, and technologies that create value for society. Through our collaboration with Sportgoodsfonden, companies based in DTU Science Park are eligible for these grants, helping them secure international funding and move to the next stage of their development.

Techvolver is a laboratory digitisation and automation company founded in 2018 with a clear mission: to take pipette calibration from a slow, manual chore to an automated routine you barely have to think about.
Their solution, Calvolver, is a fully integrated system built around a robotic arm and high-precision sensors housed in a compact lab cabinet. It calibrates all types of pipettes automatically, and delivers accurate, traceable data instantly.

We appreciate that the grant recognises the importance of diversity in innovation. For us, the funding will be used to strengthen our work and enable us bring new international customers on board as we scale our technology beyond Denmark.

 Jakob Skjærlund
CEO, Techvolver

As part of DTU Science Park, Techvolver is part of a community designed to accelerate deep tech growth, from mentoring and test facilities to funding opportunities such as the grants sponsored by Sportgoodsfonden.

We create the space for deep tech innovation, and that means giving companies the support they need to grow faster. The grant from Sportgoodsfonden is one of many ways we help companies move forward. This grant can support Techvolver in their efforts to secure international funding for their next stage of growth.

CEO, DTU Science Park

For Techvolver, joining DTU Science Park meant becoming part of an ecosystem built to support the journey from experiment to commercialisation. Back in 2019, they participated in Danish Tech Challenge, DTU Science Park’s growth programme for hardware startups. Today, Techvolver is one of more than 300 companies in the DTU Science Park, benefiting from a community where ambitious technology founders collaborate, access specialised facilities, and share knowledge to scale their innovations.

We chose DTU Science Park because we wanted to be part of a community of companies facing challenges similar to our own. Being close to DTU gives us access to diverse and highly qualified talent, and the strength of the community here makes it easier to share experiences, learn from others and develop faster. It’s an environment we value, and one we hope to engage even more with moving forward.
