Participate and exchange knowledge and experience about CO2 storage

Storage of CO2 is a key part of Denmark’s road towards negative emissions in 2050 and at the same time, Denmark has an ambition of becoming a CO2 storage hub for Europe. The technologies behind the storage of CO2 are mature. However, there are remaining risks and uncertainties when it comes to implementation.

Looking at both offshore and onshore storage sites, this conference will cover a wide range of technical challenges and issues such as lack of high-quality data, leakage monitoring, technology maturation, and regulation to social acceptance.

Accelerated maturation of CO2 storage sites is key if Denmark is to become a storage hub and the ability to exchange experience and concerns can support the road to implementation. With this conference, DTU Offshore invites you to participate in the necessary exchange of knowledge and experience for CO2 storage sites.
