Meet 6 different parts of the ecosystem
In DTU Skylab and DTU Entrepreneurship, students are helped to become deep tech entrepreneurs. DTU Skylab helps tech and deep tech entrepreneurs, regardless of their experience with the entrepreneurial world. DTU Entrepreneurship brings together entrepreneurial research and education under one roof.
When the students have become part of the entrepreneurial world, the next natural step is the DTU Science Park. In the DTU Science Park, companies can continue their journey by participating in various growth programs where they get help to create the proper foundation to scale a company.
Open Entrepreneurship connects experienced entrepreneurs with researchers from Danish universities to explore commercial and innovative opportunities.
DeepTech Alliance is a valuable resource for companies aiming to expand internationally. The DeepTech Alliance provides access to several international business partners, investors, and other companies in the same field.
PSV is an early-stage investment house that invests in tech companies and clears the way for founders to build companies that matter.
DeepTech Alliance
DeepTech Alliance is a private non-profit association of leading European entrepreneurship hubs associated with universities and research institutions. The alliance connects European deep tech entrepreneurs, international corporates and investors in a close-knit community dedicated to exploring strategic and commercial partnerships. Every year they collectively assess +6500 ventures in the European ecosystem. They hand-pick the most mature of them for the DeepTech Alliance Business Creation programs through which they match them with corporates and investors to provide them with the market and capital opportunities they need to scale internationally.
Open Entrepreneurship
Open Entrepreneurship is a concrete initiative across all Danish universities which promotes knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship - i.e. the creation of companies with sales in research and new technology. Research-based companies are an important engine for solving major societal challenges, such as for example green transition. Open Entrepreneurship was established in 2017 and is about creating relationships between researchers and corporates as well as knowledge sharing and collaboration on the task across universities.
DTU Skylab
At DTU’s innovation hub, DTU Skylab, the convergence of technologies and talents from the broad range of academic research and disciplines at DTU join forces with an entrepreneurial mindset aimed at developing both skills and technologies to be put to use. At DTU Skylab, they have created a unique culture of learning and innovation where everyone is welcome to participate in changing the world, one step at a time. They call this the Skylab Community. A community that involves not just startup founders but also students, researchers, external corporations, investors of all kinds, and external universities - both national and international.
DTU Science Park
DTU Science Park is one of Europe's leading deep tech communities with more than 300 small and established companies. We offer partnerships and investor networks that bring you closer to deep tech startups working with hardware, climate tech, med tech and other deep tech solutions. Every year, we run several growth programs, such as Danish Tech Challenge, GreenUP Accelerator, and MedTech Growth.
PSV
PSV is an early-stage venture house that build funds, investment vehicles and initiatives to clear the path for founders building companies that matter. Through the two independent venture funds PSV Tech and PSV DeepTech they back companies in the stages before product/market-fit. While their evergreen investment pillar PSV Foundry circulate risk-willing and purpose-driven capital into closing gaps of the startup ecosystem through fund investments, grants, partnerships and fund value creation.
DTU Entreprenurship
DTU Entrepreneurship brings entrepreneurship research and education together. Diverse entrepreneurial teams and early dialogue between researchers, entrepreneurs, industrialists, and investors are essential to successfully transfer technology from university to market and build ground-breaking solutions to real world problems. They educate, train and nurture entrepreneurial teams, and bring research-based knowledge of entrepreneurship into education and policy to build better solutions, businesses and futures.
