It all started in 1940 with the founding of the Welding Center, which was the foundation of FORCE Technology. The company started by covering the need for x-rays and the approval of welds of steam boilers and today Force Technology is Denmark’s largest GTS institute (Approved Technological Service Institute) with 16 business areas, over 1,000 employees, and several departments both at home and abroad, including an innovation department in DTU Science Park.
Over the 80 years, FORCE Technology has helped other companies through major technological transformations, just as the company has left its fingerprint on various Danish technologies.
FORCE Technology is also an important player in the Danish innovation system and contributes to the acceleration of Danish innovation and strengthen Danish competitiveness – these years, with a special focus on digitalization and green transformation.
DTU Science Park congratulates FORCE Technology on the company’s 80th anniversary.
