Danish medtech startup supports skin-to-skin bonding for preterm infants

Kristine Kuni Buccoliero and NeoCare Nordic have developed a groundbreaking solution for neonatal wards. During the past year in the MedTech Growth program, they’ve secured a patent, attracted investment, and are now on their way to the market – at exactly the right moment, as new WHO guidelines highlight the need for earlier, more frequent, and longer skin-to-skin contact between preterm infants and their parents.

Groundbreaking microscope wins the Danish Industry Foundation’s Entrepreneur Award

After five months of hard work, Clair Scientific was announced this year’s Danish Tech Challenge winner. The company, known for its state-of-the-art digital microscope, was celebrated at a festive award show in Copenhagen on Friday afternoon. During the event, the ambitious winning company received the Danish Industry Foundation’s Entrepreneur Award and the accompanying prize check of 500,000 Danish kroner.

After five months of intensive acceleration, Droplet IV – the company behind an automatic flush for IV lines – has been named the winner of Danish Tech Challenge 2022. Droplet IV was celebrated Friday afternoon at a festive award show in Copenhagen, where His Royal Highness the Crown Prince presented the Danish Industry Foundation’s Entrepreneur Award to the ambitious winning startup. The award comes with a prize of 500,000 DKK.
