Workshop: Generative AI for Startups and Companies in DTU Science Park

How to turn AI into a practical advantage for your business

Generative AI is rapidly becoming an essential tool for founders and deeptech companies. It enables you to achieve more with fewer resources. But how do you make AI a natural part of your daily operations—without drowning in hype or getting lost in technical complexity?

In this hands-on workshop, we will:

  • Explore how generative AI can support founders and teams in idea validation, product development, marketing, and operations.
  • Learn how to use tools like ChatGPT effectively, including prompting techniques, team collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Work through practical exercises so participants leave with concrete skills, ready to apply AI directly in their company the very next day.

Format:

  • Highly interactive and practical, with live demos and exercises tailored to participant needs.
  • No technical background required.
  • Please bring your own laptop.
  • Some of the showcased tools require paid subscriptions—having ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Teams is an advantage.

Language: English (unless all participants are Danish speakers).

Program:

  • 8:30–9:00: Arrival and breakfast
  • 9:00–12:00: Hands-on workshop (with short breaks)
  • 12:00–12:30: Lunch

About the Instructor – Mikkel Stephensen

Mikkel brings a product-focused, no-nonsense approach to AI: emphasizing hands-on use, critical thinking, and immediate value creation rather than abstract theory. He has extensive experience building AI solutions that solve real-world problems and is passionate about helping founders and teams integrate AI into their everyday work.
