DTU Science Park company wins the Rotary Entrepreneurship Award 2020

The medtech company Measurelet, which was founded in 2017, has developed an intelligent toilet that improves and streamlines the procedure around fluid balance measurements. The company develops and tests innovative solutions in collaboration with nurses and patients. Marie Lommer Bagger herself is a trained nurse and has worked in the field for many years. She believes that fluid balance is extremely importantand that the measurements that are taken today are time-consuming, often difficult, and that the results often are uncertain. The Measurelet toilet creates an easier everyday life in a pressured health sector, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Entrepreneur Award 2020 went to Measurelet due to their innovative work. The award was nominated by the Rotary Club of Hellerup on behalf of the club Virum-Sorgenfri, which had spotted the company and their innovative work. In addition to the first prize of DKK 15,000, Measurelet also won services that include free advice from lawyers, marketing agencies, accountants and relevant companies.

Besides winning the Rotary’s Entrepreneurship Award, the company has also participated in Danish Tech Challenge (DTC) 2018. DTC is Denmark’s biggest acceleration program, hosted by DTU Science Park and Industriens Fond. The main purpose of DTC is to help hardware startups accelerate their startup.

DTU Science Park congratulates Measurelet on winning the award.
