Participants 2022

Meet all the great startups from Danish Tech Challenge 2022.

Ausculto

Ausculto produces a patent-pending medical patch for monitoring arterio-venous fistulas (AVF) in patients beginning in hemodialysis treatment. The medical patch automatically monitors the sound of blood flow in the AVF. It can notify the patient and healthcare personnel at the hospital in case of dysfunction of the AVF. The patch can relieve the already heavily burdened patients from the responsibility to monitor their health, a task many feel uneasy about performing themselves. The solution will potentially result in significantly fewer chronic damages for approximately 180.000 patients annually with kidney diseases in Europe and USA.

Colofact

Colofact produces a patent-pending hand-held medical pen for cancer screening in feces. The device performs the analysis, and the results are provided immediately to the user and the national health digital platform. The solution can potentially secure early detection of colorectal cancer, the second deadliest cancer worldwide.

Insight Chips

Insight Chips enables atomic insights with their nanoscience platform that makes it possible to see individual atoms in liquids like batteries, medicine and power-to-X solutions! The platform is called the Nano Channel Chip and is essentially the world's smallest lab-on-a-chip, for the first time enabling atomic resolution of interesting processes happening in liquids. It enables nanoscientists to simulate batteries, drug delivery in live action or the dynamic behaviour of a protein. The Nano Channel Chip is a platform which opens the door for a multitude of scientific breakthroughs by seeing what actually goes on at an atomic level.

T-Trikes

T-Trikes has developed an electrical go-kart with a radical new design that both lowers maintenance costs and enables go-karts to drift and slide, increasing the fun of driving. The solution will help the go-kart industry to offer more activities in one place and attract a wider target group.

Unwired Things

Unwired Things produces an “all-in-one" remote for people with blindness or severe visual impairment to navigate their surroundings. The device uses interchangeable sensors to translate variables such as temperature for cooking or distance for walking into audio. The solution potentially allows more than 100 million visual impaired people to self-manage easily and cost-effectively, thereby increasing their quality of life.
